The hotel and authority obviously wanted to put the best spin on the death by calling it a suicide. It was the family who objected to that finding. They insisted on either a homicide--without suspects or evidence-- or an accident. The reason why most likely can be found in David Carradine's life insurance policy.

As to Obama, so far he has turned out to be a articulate and eloquent speaker than Bush.Renonoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26177615.post-89330293158839247222009-06-07T20:38:58.714+07:002009-06-07T20:38:58.714+07:00Hi Will,

So while I support Obama's attempt to build bridges, it would also be nice if the Islamic world would reciprocate.

A good start would be to remove the death-penalty for non-Mulsims who wish to visit Mecca.

MarcusAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26177615.post-20671533819474999452009-06-06T20:43:25.094+07:002009-06-06T20:43:25.094+07:00Foundational scriptures, Jewish and Muslim, are fu...Foundational scriptures, Jewish and Muslim, are full of intolerant episodes, but as Obama pointed out, in 13th Andalusia all Peoples of the Book got along just fine. Outward events stimulate inward differences. The Andalusian age of tolerance ended when Christian Spain killed, expelled or forcefully converted all Jews and Muslims in the Reconquista (holocaust) of 1492.Dr. Willhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07574572237065144942noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26177615.post-68538973873975804442009-06-06T19:33:26.948+07:002009-06-06T19:33:26.948+07:00Hi Will,

If he'd have kept reading he'd have got to 9:123: "O ye who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are near to you, and let them find harshness in you, and know that Allah is with those who keep their duty (unto Him)."

MarcusAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26177615.post-29718782509923621272009-06-06T16:31:52.566+07:002009-06-06T16:31:52.566+07:00Re David Carradine's demise: I'm still ske...Re David Carradine's demise: I'm still skeptical, particularly as earlier reports mentioned footprints of another in the room, and the description of the tied hands seem unusual for someone apparently alone.
I'm not inclined to click on your link and find out more about auto-eroticism, so I will just have a guess that it means alone - if he was not alone then was it an accident or something else?

Re Obama: He still can 'talk the talk', but for me he's yet to prove he can 'walk the walk'.
(a bit like Thailand's current PM:)
See Robert Fisk's recent articles in The Independent for a slightly different perspective than the usual MSM.hobbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04251478382712113226noreply@blogger.com
